The Line Magnetic LM-215CD CD player is a top-of-the-range model equipped with an analog tube output stage which also has optical and coaxial digital outputs in addition to its stereo RCA analog output.

Designed by music enthusiasts, the Line Magnetic LM-215CD CD player has an original Sanyo reading mechanism controlled by a high-end Philips controller board. The digital to analog (DAC) conversion uses a Texas Instrument Burr Brown PCM1792 chip. The analog output stages use a 12AU7 tube as well as high-end OPA2604 operational amplifiers. Line Magnetic engineers have designed this CD player according to strict specifications by optimizing the audio signal path and rigorously selecting each of the components. The construction is robust and both the chassis and the cover are treated against interference and vibrations.

The Line Magnetic LM-215CD CD player can be combined with all amplifiers on the market equipped with a line input or a CD input, to benefit from its integrated DAC and its analog tube output stage. It is also possible to connect it directly to the optical or coaxial input of an external DAC or an amplifier equipped with an integrated DAC, the turntable then serving as a simple digital transport.
