Transrotor Konstant M1 Reference
OverviewIf a Transrotor turntable is supplied with the standard transformer power supply, then the Konstant Studio or the Konstant Reference is a significant upgrade.
The Konstant M1 Reference is the big brother of the Konstant Studio, packed in a nice housing with a larger power supply.
The Konstant M1 Reference actually requires a kind of power frequency generator, a device that drives the turntable motor with a very constant and clean sine wave.
This ensures that the engine can do its work quieter and more stable.
It is immediately noticeable that there is more peace in the sound image. The placement is more accurate and the stereo image is more precise. The bass has also become tighter and “tingels” sing out longer. The whole picture becomes a lot more holographic and tangible. So with the Konstant Reference you make a step forward.
Furthermore, when changing the speed, you no longer have to change the belt on the pulley, but simply flip the switch from 33 to 45RPM.
