Purist Audio Design started over 30 years ago in Jim's garage.
They have always been audiophiles and innovators. There are many products on the market that you may recognize as being from Purist Audio Design: the first audiophile grade liquid shielded cable, the first Cryomag treated cables, the first system improver, the first cables with custom galvanized sleeving.. . and many others. Purist Audio Design stands for innovation, history and dedication.
Jim started Purist Audio Design out of a love for high-end audio and a desire to make things better.
Jim realized in 1986 that the problems we would face in high-end audio were RF, EMI and vibration. When he looked around, he really did not see that anyone offered a solution to these problems. So then Jim introduced the first cable, the Aqueous. The first Aqueous had a liquid base around the conductor and was soon dubbed the "Texas Water Cable" by reviewers
